Campaign vision
TirangaApex helps neighbourhoods and organizations design a Har Ghar Tiranga initiative that balances dignity with accessibility. Our approach combines short educational resources, event toolkits, and a model for voluntary participation that scales from single-family actions to multi-block coordination.
Core pillars
- Education: Brief lesson packs about the flag’s symbolism and history appropriate for families and schools.
- Respect: Clear, simple handling instructions so every display is dignified.
- Inclusion: Practical alternatives for those unable to mount outdoor flags.
- Action: Volunteer-driven community service events tied to the campaign.
How neighbourhoods can participate
Start small: register a weekend to promote window flags, host a park flag ceremony (with permits), or offer community distribution of small flags to households who request them. Use Apex’s event checklist to ensure safety, permissions and respect.
Volunteer & partnership suggestions
Partner with schools, local clubs and RWAs. Volunteers can manage flag distribution, lead short history talks, or coordinate a neighbourhood flag walk. Use a volunteer rota to share responsibilities and keep activities inclusive and enjoyable.
Measuring impact
Track the number of participating homes, volunteer hours, and community services completed (for instance, a neighbourhood park clean-up paired with a flag ceremony). Share a short, image-driven impact report to celebrate contributions transparently and respectfully.
Toolkit & templates
Downloadable templates include public-post safety checklists, sample social copy, printable indoor flags, and a simple family pledge. Use them to make participation straightforward and to reduce friction for first-time hosts.
